Single  was a piece inspired by a friend’s photo during a solo trip to another country. The selfie captured his reflection as he looked at art in a museum. I was struck not only by the geometric composition of the photo but also by the thought of him traveling alone and whether that experience felt lonely for him. Although he was at the gallery with friends, there was a sense of loneliness stuck in the photo.
