JILL KYONG

artist: relief art • sculpture • furniture

This bench started from a conversation I had with Logan.  She told me how she just went swimming and didn’t like the seaweed touching her legs.  It reminded me of spending weekends at the lake in Minnesota when I was a kid.  The lake was full of seaweed in the spring, but the more I pulled out, the less weeds there would be in the summer.  I wrapped my legs  around the slimy weeds, yanked them out, and piled them on the beach.
